Welcome to Executioner’s House in Nuremberg

Executioner’s House is 500 years old. Located in the heart of the old city of Nuremberg, it was built directly over the Pegnitz. For centuries the building served as the living quarters of the Nuremberg executioners and their families. You can now visit a newly-designed exhibition in Executioner’s House, on the legal and criminal history of Nuremberg. In addition, at the History for Everyone (Geschichte für Alle e.V.) information desk in the building, you can purchase tickets for city tours and books on the history of the city. We look forward to your visit!
